Awarded Best Editorial Stylist by the most prestigious hairstyling competition in North America, NAHA and named Best Colorist by Boston Magazine , Michael Albor, owner of The Loft Salon + Day Spa, has been the mastermind  behind some of the most brilliant cut and colors on women from all over the world. Michael  is a hair stylist in Boston and specializes in color and form hairdressing. His artistic ability and vision translates into giving his clients a perfect modern look.

Although he was recognized as one of the Best and Brightest Hair Stylists in the country by Allure magazine, glamorous hair stylists weren't always on Albor's mind. Born and raised in Miami , he attended fashion school in hopes of working in the fashion industry. While working with runway, in a twist of fate, Michael discovered his true passion is being a hair stylist on Newbury St in Boston, and his natural talent has kept him booked solid ever since.

Over his twenty years of experience, Michael has served as the artistic director at The Salon at Saks Fifth Avenue , an educator with Aveda, a Paul Mitchel advisor, and a member of Elizabeth Arden ' s core styling team. He is currently an educator for Aquage, traveling all over the country training other stylists. His innovative and creative abilities have sent him far and wide to the pages of fashion magazines as well as fashion shows, working with designers such as Isaac Mizrahi and Badgley Mischka. His print includes Elegant Wedding Magazine , Cooking Light Magazine , Boston Globe and Boston Magazine . Although an appointment with him might be hard to come by, Michael has assembled a fantastic team of cut and color specialists at The Loft Salon + Day Spa, who each strive to a create brilliant and unique looks for every client.
